nearly one week old!

the carabin family. elliot's days and nights are still a little mixed up. but when she sleeps she sleeps well. danielle is recovering great! she is feeling pretty rested at this point and feeding is going very well. elliot has a big appetite. rick will be spending the week packing for their move to nova scotia on friday.

unauthorized update

hi, i dont think rick & danielle will mind...but this is amanda again, i just have to say i think today is the day (or night!).

i spent several hours with the excited carabins (and grandma terri & grandma paula). danielle had several contractions and some seemed to be pretty painful.

i have not received an update since 3pm, but the plan was to go to the hospital (its been full all day and their doctor is really working to get a room secured for them) by around 4pm. the doctor said she would come and break danielle's water at 5.30pm. its 7pm here now, and like i said, i havent heard either way from them, but it might all be going down right now!!!

i just felt bad for all her faithful readers, and thought i would share this much.

hopefully there will be a boy/girl by morning!!! yay!

ps. they were both doing really well, danielle was very uncomfortable but still excited enough to pick out baby stuff at toys r us :)

Still Waiting!!!!!

Well, still no baby yet everyone! Seems we had a bit of a false alarm last night which still happens to be ringing every few hours! So we will see what the rest of tonight brings! hopefully a little baby! Les & Terri get here early tomorrow morning so maybe that's what the baby is waiting for. ;)Keep praying for us and can't wait to update you with some real news!

early labour happening now

hello, this is amanda salmon delivering a message to all the carabin fans:

danielle is in early labour. so far, she is having somewhat painful contractions at 15 minutes apart. the plan is to try to nap so if she goes into active labour anytime soon, she will be rested. rick & danielle are very excited.

i will update when i hear more news.
