Thanksgiving Fun

Here are some pics from our Thanksgiving weekend in Calgary! The first is Rick with Isaac on his lap and Jalen beside him. Then there is Danielle and her favorite cousin Naomi =), then there's little Josiah, so cute and last is Dennis(Danielle's bro) and Deanne and Noah. And for those of you who know Dennis, any photo with him looking at the camera with a normal expression is a HUGE photo opportunity!

Rick cooking supper at our new place!

Home sweet home!

Hello everyone!

Well, we're back in Canada and we just enjoyed a wonderful Thanksgiving weekend in Calgary visitng Danielle's brother and his family along with her cousin Naomi and family. We also got to see Kent and Giselle and Margaret and Tyler! Fun times.

Rick's Congo trip was awesome and now two more people groups have the Jesus film in their heart language! Everything went very smoothly and the recording team had a great time with the locals and the missionaries there.

Since returning, we've begun to settle in to our new place. After a few coats of paint and moving furniture around this way and that, it's starting to feel like home. Hopefully we'll be able to get some pictures of the place up soon!

Plans were to head off the Guatemala this month, however after severe mudslides, the trip has been postponed. Many of the voice actors and others involved in the project have suffered major loss and it may take a while before the recording is re-scheduled. Please pray for the locals and those involved in the Jesus Film Project. Campus Crusade is also considering sending a relief team to help out, partnering up with Global Aid Network. We also hope to be part of this project if it works out! This could be a great way to practically meet the needs of the those who will eventually see the Jesus Film in their own langague, planting many seeds!

Thanks again for all the love and prayers sent our way.

Warmly,

Rick and Danielle
